How to find us

May 2007

“At the time of night-prayer, as the sun slides down, the route the senses walk on closes, the route to the invisible opens.”

Rumi

"Winter invites us down, beneath the domain of the merely physical senses, to a world best navigated by sitting still, and best seen by closing one’s eyes. And what we find in the resting ground of our being is a God of Light waiting to be born in the humble circumstances of our immediate lives.”

Joseph Jastrab

Dear All

Many thanks for all your trust and support over the last five years! We are deeply grateful for all the precious time and experiences we had with you.

However I am sorry to tell you that we will discontinue services at Nalanda Ayurvedic Centre, Hout Bay.

It is time to let it go. I am confident that something beautiful and new will emerge out of the situation, but this will take its own time.

In the meantime, we will be open for treatment until the 9th May and will have our last Wellness Day on the 10th May 2007. We are also available after hours until then.

If you, or the person you gave a voucher to, have not yet used up the voucher you purchased, please contact us immediately for your booking.

If you are unable to use your voucher before 10th May please hold on to it. I will inform you as soon as I am able to offer you some other possibility of treatment.

There are four women in our team who have become very confident in massage, reception skills, interacting with clients, cooking and are generally able to deal with most of the logistics of the Centre. If you are interested in employing any of them, kindly contact us for references.

We regret and apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause you!

We wish you all the best, and are looking forward to a bright future.

Namaste

Traditional Sanskrit word which means: "I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light and of peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are one." It is typically used as a greeting.
